I have a question. If raising taxes on the “job creators” by eliminating the Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,000 is going to hurt those “job creators”, where have they been for the last 10 years (approx.) that the Bush tax cuts have been in place? Where are those jobs?

And, I hope everybody understands that all taxpayers pay the lower rate on their first $250,000 of taxable income, i.e. after deductions etc. So only the marginal rate for taxable income above that threshold amount will be affected by the elimination of the tax cuts. Sorry for the repetition of “taxable income”. I just never hear it talked about that way.  If I’m wrong about this, let me know.  But, the question remains, where are the jobs?
